Sharing a commitment to meaningful design, community enrichment and technical excellence, Zervas' architectural values are expressed in the firm's diverse portfolio of award-winning residential, commercial and educational projects. As design leaders in a rapidly growing region, Zervas advocates for urban concentration where infrastructure exists, planning that preserves our natural resources and design that adds to the community experience.
Zervas always approaches projects by learning and understanding our client’s needs, determining project facts and goals and performing extensive facility research. To ensure we are providing the best design for our clients, we welcome a collaborative design process and feedback. We strive to create buildings that will remain beautiful for decades to come and that will be long-term assets to the communities that they serve. Zervas’ foundation of providing exceptional client service and high-quality architectural design has never wavered.
With over 60 years of experience designing projects in the Pacific Northwest, Zervas Architects has played a vital role in creating the built environment in many smaller towns and communities around the State of Washington.
We have a diverse makeup of full-time staff that hovers between 15-20 professional and support personnel. This makes Zervas bigger than the typical “small firm” and gives us the ability to flex when workloads are steep.
The firm’s sustainable design practice and sensitivity to conceptual planning are a natural extension of its modern organic roots, a legacy passed on by founder Jim Zervas gained during his apprenticeship to Frank Lloyd Wright.
Zervas continues to stay up to date with strategies for providing our clients with buildings that will be affordable, efficient, and beautiful for many decades to come, as well as assets to the communities that they serve. While building science is an ever-changing field, our basic values of exceptional client service and high-quality architecture have never wavered.
